Abstract

This chapter offers “final words”—it briefly summarizes the key findings and the key recommendations, emphasizing that these are merely suggestions for what the Nigerian government (and possibly other African governments) might be able to learn from project failures in the past and what they might be able to do about this. But these are technical recommendations that might well be modified and changed—action will depend on political will, and the responsibility for political will lies with the heads of government.
