Abstract

Performance Management motivation is at the heart of Western PM design. This chapter presents an empirical analysis of such an important driver of cross-cultural performance management: motivation. Extrinsic motivators (e.g., non-monetary and monetary rewards) and intrinsic motivators (e.g., empowerment, personal development, workplace fun) were discussed.
