Abstract

This concluding chapter summarises the key arguments made throughout the book and brings them together to form an overarching argument centred on the future of impact measurement. In doing so, it considers issues of how to measure impact; the role of individual agency and collaboration; politics, power and ethics in impact; and the need for empowerment and inclusivity in the impact measurement process. This chapter (and book) concludes by arguing that it is only by holistically following the recommendations made in the book across these core areas, that impact measurement can produce the evidence required to support the building of a more sustainable world [Relevant SDGs: All SDGs].
