Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic is spreading worldwide, and all nations are facing health crises. This research aims to establish the interplay among the select factors that have influenced deglobalization process during the pandemic. Wide-ranging studies have tried to look over the socio-economic impacts of pandemic, but hardly any work is done to elucidate the factors accelerating deglobalization process during COVID-19. This study is an effort to fulfil the existing gaps in the literature by establishing the interaction among the factors causing deglobalization process amid pandemic. We have employed total interpretive structural modelling to examine the interaction among the select factors. Integrating polarity in the developed model has made it more illustrative. This model is a novel initiative for analyzing the factors that have speed up the deglobalization process during COVID era.
