The Methodology for Calculating the Productivity of Office Personnel at the Stage of Intelligent Machines Implementation

Purpose: Adaptation of well-known approaches to assessing and identifying reserves for increasing the productivity of managerial, administrative and other office work due to the changing format and technology of its implementation as a result of digitalization. Methodology: A distinctive feature of managerial, administrative or office work, which until recently hindered the development of the theory of productivity in this area, is the non-material nature of managerial decisions, regulations, documents, etc. However, the massive use of computers or bots to perform routine operations, as well as advisory and monitoring software, allow us to start using timekeeping in offices. Seizing the opportunity to quantify the impact of mental work allows to extrapolate the postulates of the theory and methods of performance of industrial enterprises in the evaluation of the performance of administrative structures, offices, or employees. The approach to measuring and evaluating the productivity of intellectual labor, proposed by the authors, is based on the method of calculating performance reserves as a time-dependent value organizational and qualification losses. Findings: The specifics of calculations of such criteria for evaluating labor productivity as possible and maximum productivity, their reserves and the time loss ratio for a particular employee or various organizational structures of managerial, administrative or office activity are shown. Originality/value: Approaches presented in the article to evaluate the productivity of intellectual labor allow us to define goals and reengineer processes creating the value for commercial organizations and government institutions.
