Abstract

Purpose: The aim of the study is to improve the organization of planning and production management system in an enterprise. Design/Methodology/Approach: The system analysis method was used in the process of research, as well as analysis of the scientific literature, comparative, tabular, graphical methods of presenting information, forecasting methods, and others. Findings: In today's market conditions, the success and sustainability of the enterprise depend on how the production process is organized, and what technologies the enterprise is equipped with and how well it is funded. The effectiveness of planning and production management system today is an integral part of any industrial enterprise that seeks to achieve maximum efficiency from its work in accordance with the goals. Originality/value: The authors have proved that in modern conditions the development of the organization of production in enterprises, as well as the basic elements of production planning, is a prerequisite for ensuring the efficient operation of enterprises.
