Abstract

Here, we discuss three disturbing aspects of our rapidly-changing world: foreign country threats, persistant COVID, and the rise of western socialismSocialism. China, Russia, and Iran all project increasing strength to the world in their individual efforts to challange the US and its economic dominance. Between China’s communist-controlled economic engine, Russia’s intelligence attempts to attach and manipulate America’s institutions, and Iran’s nuclear and terrorist proliferation, the West faces mounting political and economic challenges. COVID-19COVID-19 has changed and destabalized the world in profound ways. As more and more people retire or otherwise become unemployed and exit the labor force, social programs will increasingly require revenue from those who are still left to tax. None of this bodes well for the wealthy.
