Abstract

Quantitative findings presented so far indicate that, if compared with the baseline, in general, in the study areas, the living conditions of the ENRICH programme participants have gone through significant positive changes. Their incomes and expenditures have increased and they now have relatively better access to social services. At the same time, it is important to note that participation in the ENRICH programme has also positively influenced their food intake as they now have regular access to food and their protein-intake has also improved. Furthermore, more households now have access to health services and health cards and their access to sanitation facilities has also improved. In the education sector, when compared with the baseline, the performance of the students attending ENRICH programme education centres has improved significantly.
