Abstract

The present chapter discusses the main factors—authentic leadership and agility and change-oriented behaviors—at a global manufacturing company in Seoul, South Korea. The conducted survey was targeted toward team leaders who represent and are responsible for teams at the aforementioned global manufacturing company. Using the structural equation modeling (SEM) technique, this study examines the relationship among authentic leadership, agility, and change-oriented behavior. The results of this study indicate authentic leadership is positively and directly related to change-oriented behavior and significantly associated with agility. But agility is not statistically significant to change-oriented behavior. More discussion is needed to evaluate authentic leadership, agility, and change-oriented behavior at other levels within the global manufacturing company.
