Abstract

Most often, we think of imagination as an activity of the mind which flows unhampered when you are alone with your thoughts. This section discusses how to make our imagination work during feedback conversations. Speaking in analogies is based on associating what you hear with what you already know to explain a present idea better. Listening for imagination is about transforming what you hear into a possibility. It’s about using a trigger to ask “What if” questions, opening the mind to future scenarios.
