Abstract

When managing your own research, you have to consider the likelihood of being able to get the data you need as well as you what you need first. In addition, you have to develop a unique outlook and to enable you to manage the data as you go through it. Even as you finish your research, you should be thinking about the need for supplemental research as well as whether or not you will have to do similar research future. Finally, you have to learn how to develop and nurture their own network within your firm. An internal network can be an invaluable tool in doing your own CI.
