Abstract

You know, this would be an awesome job except for those pesky stakeholders! If you ask me, managing stakeholder expectations is the hardest part of project management, and every PM I know struggles with this from time to time. The good news is that there’s a lot you can do to improve your skills in this area. Simply having a well-thought-out plan and applying deliberate strategies to each stakeholder can greatly increase your effectiveness. Chapter 1 talked about how to determine who your stakeholders are and their relative importance. This chapter talks about what to do with them!
