Abstract

Nobody likes going to the doctor and for good reason. The best-case scenario is that you spend the majority of your day anxiously waiting for someone to tell you that you’re in good health but you need to take better care of yourself, watch what you eat, and get plenty of rest. The worst-case scenario … well, need I say more? But, what if you could eliminate all the anxiety associated with this potential ordeal? What if your doctor’s report was available to you at all times allowing you to determine your health status at any moment? The result of any health decision could then be predetermined. Want that second cheeseburger? No problem because my doctor’s report won’t reveal any problems. How about fries with it? Go for it! Unfortunately, life and, more importantly, nature are not that simple. However, when it comes to your financial health, simplicity just might be possible. To achieve this, let’s discuss the wonders of the balance sheet because understanding one will help you understand your own financial health.
