Economics of Invisible Collaboration

Abstract

Our global world consists of various arrangements in the division of work in nature and artifacts. We first present an invisible body-balancing/collaboration network and economics in an asymmetric society using a medium approach under cloud balancing. This medium approach to the economics of collaboration originates in the newsboy problem, and results from the invisible hand of the market (demand) speed with Chameleon’s criteria. However, the invisible hand in economics causes a win–win situation (balancing) under a series type supply chain, but not necessarily for parallel types. It may be possible to address this balancing problem using supply chain management (SCM) ellipse theory, and to formulate an SCM/GDP network with the circulation of marginal profit (medium value) in economics. The ellipse theory of SCM refers to the win–win balance between economics and reliability. The former is attained by balancing even-costs, while this chapter shows that the latter holds for parallel chains by changing the focus from lead times to workloads. Finally, the economics of invisible collaboration is discussed using numerical examples and cases, and balancing principal is numerically verified based on Matsui’s equation (W = ZL).
