Abstract

In the concluding chapter, a summary of the findings of the earlier chapters are presented and the implications of all the critical issues, described so far, on India’s textile and clothing trade scenario are narrated briefly. In doing so, the implications of the liberalized trade regime on the major Southeast Asian competitors of India are also compared as and when necessary. The prospective reach of this sector in the new world order as well as the future scope of research are also expected to be projected with definite grounds.
