Abstract

In chapter 4 , we have quashed quite a few popular beliefs on the influence of T20 on test matches like ‘length of test matches’ has gone down, ‘runs per over’ has gone up, ‘draw percentage’ has diminished and ‘percentage score in boundaries’ has increased. We have also seen that if ‘runs per wicket’ has gone down as an ill-effect of T20, the tail-enders’ contribution with the bat has improved significantly which is on the positive side.
