Abstract

An unavoidably complex analysis. One can wonder if it was necessary to conduct such a complicated analysis as that realized in this book, which can be summarized as follows: (i) a statistical analysis of all the companies of the EU28EU28 Aerospace IndustryAerospace industry; (ii) a statistical and network analysis of four different aggregates of connected companies; and (iii) binary and weighted versions of the three types of interlock coordination (DINT, BINT and HINT), each of them generateing a specific network topology, plus the multi-layer network obtained by considering them all together, with its corresponding topology. As we have seen, these many distinctions are necessary, because the different aggregates, types of interlock and its intensity show different properties and features in terms of statistical and network analysis.
