Factors Affecting the Behavior of Choosing Green Tours: Case Study of Students in Hanoi City

Abstract

This study of ours emphasizes to strengthen the analysis of factors affecting students’ behavior in choosing green tours. The research team took a typical scope at Hanoi city, especially at Hanoi University of Industry and collected more than 300 survey samples from students who have and will experience these green tourism destinations, green parks, green resorts in Hanoi by random sampling method. The results of the measurement model evaluation on SMARTPLS 3 show that travel demand has the strongest impact on choice decisions. Green tour for students. Analysis results have shown factors that influence students’ choice decisions, including subjective standards, needs, service costs, support policies, and recognition travel mode. The research is the basis for proposing strategic solution groups to develop a green tourism economy in the direction of improving efficiency, friendliness, and sustainability through creating appropriate solutions and educational programs suitable to increase environmental awareness among the younger generation.
