Abstract

This study examined the mediating role of psychological capital in the relationship between psychological empowerment and innovative work behavior in marketing employees at a private Bank in Bali. A sample of 201 marketing employees was recruited using nonprobability sampling with a saturated sampling technique. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) with the AMOS approach. The results showed that psychological capital partially mediated the effect of psychological empowerment on innovative work behavior. This indicates that to improve innovative work behavior in marketing employees, it is necessary to provide psychological empowerment, which can lead to increased psychological capital, which can enhance innovative work behavior. The findings of this study suggest that companies can promote innovative work behavior in marketing employees by fostering psychological empowerment and psychological capital. This can be achieved by creating a supportive and collaborative work environment, providing opportunities for employees to develop their skills and knowledge, and recognizing and rewarding innovative behavior.
