Abstract

Unpaid labour is one of the most important occurrences when it comes to the analysis of economic efficiency, especially in micro-, small and medium enterprises. The article presents the main methods for the evaluation of unpaid labour which are then used to analyse the data collected from a number of transport SMEs in order to establish the nature and extent of unpaid labour in Polish transport enterprises. Contingency analysis and ANOVA are used to determine whether the scale of the unpaid labour varies depending on the sector and size of the enterprise.
