Abstract

Data visualization through data analytics holds great potential for enhancing decision-making in higher education, as per the latest research. In the upcoming years, it will be crucial for researchers to possess the skills to understand, analyze, derive insights from, present, and convey information from data (Varian. Hal Varian on how the Web challenges managers, 2009). As part of this research, the aim is to examine the current trends in utilizing data analytics to enhance higher education. Specifically, the focus will be on identifying the factors contributing to student dropouts, tracking progress, and predicting future behavior. This will involve leveraging cloud-based technology to analyze diverse in-house datasets and will also provide in-depth information on how to leverage it. Finally, based on the results and findings, the research will conclude with recommendations on how to integrate all the data into cloud-based technology to improve the decision-making process in a digital environment.
