Abstract

This research aims to identify the critical factors in project management that influence the success of defense industry projects, from the perspective of sustainability and Industry 4.0. To this end, a systematic review of the literature was carried out by searching for articles published in the Scopus and Web of Science databases, between 2013 and 2023. Inclusion and exclusion criteria were defined, which resulted in 21 articles. As results, 55 critical success factors were listed, divided into three categories. This study intends to serve as a basis for researchers looking for references, concepts, gaps and research trends on the topic, as well as identifying critical success factors in project management in the Defense area.
