Abstract

The objective of this article was to learn about good practices in education for Sustainable Development. The methodology was structured into basic, descriptive and qualitative. A bibliographical research was carried out, consisting of periodical articles available on the Internet. To collect data, information was sought on websites in six (06) Higher Education Institutions in the Campos Gerais region, using the structure-based research proposed (Lozano and Young in J Clean Prod 49:134–141, 2013 [1]; Springer Proceedings in Business and Economics Homepage, https://www.springer.com/series/11960 [2]), which were adapted for this research. Higher Education Institutions began to incorporate environmental education and Education for Sustainable Development. The results showed that there are interconnections between commitment, implementation and good practices in consumer education and environmental education. This research makes it known that, in general, the implementation of Education for Sustainable Development in Higher Education has not been holistically integrated and the results indicate that there is a potential structure.
