Abstract

This paper presents a theoretical exploration of the relationship between green finance and sustainable development, aiming to shed light on the potential avenues for achieving environmental sustainability through financial mechanisms. Drawing on existing literature and theoretical frameworks, the paper examines the intersection of green finance initiatives and their impact on promoting sustainable development goals. Key concepts, theories, and models related to green finance and sustainable development are analyzed to identify the underlying mechanisms driving their nexus. The paper also discusses the challenges, opportunities, and policy implications associated with advancing towards a greener future through financial innovation. Overall, this theoretical approach offers insights into the theoretical foundations of green finance and its role in fostering environmental sustainability.
