Abstract

Digital management is a crucial and transformative concept that plays an important role in shaping the future of business, industry and society as a whole. In the conditions of rapid technological advancement, it is important for organizations to adopt digital management in order to increase the level of competitiveness and easily adapt to the ever-changing environment. One of the main focuses of digital management is the use of innovative technologies to optimize processes and improve overall efficiency. The purpose of the study: This article explores the pivotal role of digital management in shaping the success and sustainability of such enterprises within the picturesque landscapes of Georgia. As the wine industry continues to evolve, the adoption of digital management practices emerges as a critical factor for optimizing processes, enhancing quality, expanding market reach, and making informed decisions. By delving into the challenges faced by these companies, we illuminate how limited resources and competition with larger entities necessitate innovative approaches. The benefits of embracing digital management encompass efficient data collection and analysis, streamlined inventory control, heightened quality assurance, targeted marketing, and improved decision-making. Furthermore, we address the barriers to adoption and provide insights into overcoming them. Anticipating future trends, we discuss the implications of cutting-edge technologies and stress the need for adaptation to remain competitive. Research methodology: 50 small and medium-sized wine producing companies (in Georgia) participated in the mentioned research. Qualitative research in the form of in-depth interviews and quantitative research were used. In the last part of the study, the received information is summarized and presented in the form of a conclusion. In conclusion, this article underscores the imperative for small and medium-sized wine producing companies in Georgia to harness the power of digital management, ultimately fortifying their position in the dynamic landscape of the wine industry.
