Abstract

The accounting profession needs to continue its efforts to adapt to new technologies. To achieve this, updating strategies, improving current practices, and resetting the way of interacting with clients are necessary. All these actions have the potential to create value for both the profession and clients of accounting professionals or for various users of accounting information (tax authorities, banks, and other financial institutions). These changes are imposed by developments in the economic environment, and it is useful for accounting professionals to anticipate these developments as much as possible to avoid being taken by surprise by the continuously changing social demand. We thus apply the most modern technologies while the passage of time has demonstrated that the basic accounting principles formulated 500–600 years ago remain valid.
