Abstract

Ensuring sustainable development of the national economy of the Russian Federation in the current unfavorable foreign policy conditions is impossible without the implementation of industrial policy. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between industrial policy and the policy of sustainable development of the economy of the Russian Federation. Research methods: systematic and economic analysis. The author highlights the functions of industry and industrial policy to ensure sustainable economic development. The article analyzes the mechanisms of state support for industrial enterprises within the framework of industrial policy and its instruments. The study systematizes the actions of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation to implement industrial policy in 2023 and formulates groups of problems of industrial policy and sustainable economic development to be solved this year. The author shows the relationship between the implemented industrial policy and foreign trade, tax, regional policies, and import substitution policies. The article analyzes the activities of the Industrial Development Fund to support industrial enterprises. The study shows that in order to solve the problems of sustainable economic development and industrial development, it is necessary to increase the volume of financial support for industry, an increase in the number of projects and enterprises receiving government support.
