Abstract

Conclusions and future research The method and the tool give managers a good overview of how an optimal portfolio could be composed given the projects they gave as input. The tool is a decision support system and enables a solid starting point of reasoning and discussion about the optimal portfolios in a given situation. Many questions are still left open for future research: The tool was applied in a medium sized organization: can it be used in larger companies running multiple portfolios? Which people should be included to fully utilize the potential of the tool?
