Abstract

Classification of space product materials is faced with how to adjust it dynamically for new data after having completing build the classifier. In this paper, based on Iterative Dichotomize 5 revision (ID5R) algorithm, a dynamic adjustment method of space product material classification was constructed by using the inventory management data of materials. In this model, the principle of entropy change was used to determine the adjustment of some nodes in the decision tree, so that the space product material classification could be updated without reconstructing the decision tree. The classification results show that this method can not only display the classification rules of the space product material clearly to achieve helping enterprises manage inventory effectively, but also help determine whether the node is adjusted through comparing the entropy of the attributes on the decision node, which is efficient.
