Abstract

The continuous increase in population density and the rise in the average travel distance of individuals using various modes of transportation, be it public or private, play a crucial role in the development of the city’s urban area. These factors contribute significantly to the emergence of several issues, including road congestion, time loss, and pollution in urban areas, as well as noise and other related problems. In this document, we present a multi-agent system designed to simulate daily mobility patterns in the Rabat region. This simulation tool aids the city’s decision-makers in making informed choices, be it in optimizing road infrastructure or gaining insights into traffic conditions on specific roads.
