Abstract

This study addresses the escalating threat of cyberattacks by exploring the awareness levels among individuals and their perception of cyberthreats and cybersecurity measures. Adopting a mixed-methods approach, the research combines quantitative techniques, such as sentiment analysis and topic modeling, with qualitative methods, including comprehensive interviews with senior executives across various organizations. The aim is to gain a deeper understanding of their attitudes, behaviors, and strategies for dealing with cyberthreats. Our findings underline the crucial role of effective governance and the development of a robust cybersecurity culture in organizations, highlighting how these factors are instrumental in reducing risks. The insights garnered from this study are pivotal for guiding strategic decision-making, refining cybersecurity protocols, and bolstering organizational resilience against the evolving landscape of cyberthreats.
