Abstract

Studies across multiple industries have shown the importance of team cohesion and its diverse application [1, 44, 46]. This study reviews the literature regarding the types of factors that affect team cohesion. Within the literature review we examine the question; Can Artificial Intelligence (AI) be a tool to assist in accurately determining teams using employee self-reported preferences and capabilities? Opportunities exist within the literature for areas of practice where AI enabled personality tests are used for the purposes of creating teams. The purpose of this paper is to examine the possible relationship between AI enabled personality assessments results and their ability to garner team cohesion.
