Shooting with Feedback

Abstract

This chapter deals with shooting situations where there is information feedback between shots and salvos of shots. The effect of this information is to decrease the number of shots required, to increase the kill probability, or even (as in the introductory quote) to discover something about the weapon doing the shooting. In spite of the implied extended time period, we assume as in Chapter 2 that shooting is one sided, with no return fire.
