Abstract

The new trends related to globalization, imply the increase of social and economic complexity, as well as higher rates of change and competitiveness. New, concrete, and serious management problems have recently triggered partnerships, fusions and join venture, with the aim to cope with these changes. In such circumstances, financial elites show high dynamicity and international orientation; they are acting within different social–political contexts, to seize in time the direction to the changes in progress, and to react consequently.
