Abstract

The author of this article has been the CEO of a successful family business for 6 years, the roots of which go back to the seventeenth century. However, his personal path has been inextricably linked to the industrial company since his birth. In this article, he describes how this led him through successful but also challenging moments and how a change of perspective helped him to overcome a personal low point and start an entrepreneurial transformation process aimed at rediscovering the company’s purpose and bringing it back to life. He also discusses selected situations, methods and projects from a practical perspective, as well as insights that have proven effective in his business environment for promoting a culture of wellbeing. He outlines why, for him, a successful life is always linked to the opportunity to achieve maximum impact and why sustainability and social responsibility are a logical consequence of this.
