Abstract

Technology is one of the factors supporting progress in various sectors, especially in the education sector. ESD EDU Simulator (Education for Sustainability) is an application that allows students to simulate entrepreneurship material. This technology-based learning provides convenience in learning activities to improve the quality of education through the development and implementation of technology-based learning media products. This chapter aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing the ESD EDU Simulator learning media to improve learning outcomes in Entrepreneurship Material. The ESD EDU Simulator application will support continuing education in the long term. The method used in this research is quasi-experimental. The research results show that applying the ESD EDU Simulator media can improve learning outcomes. Meanwhile, the level of economic literacy has little influence on student learning outcomes, but other factors influence it, such as learning motivation. The results of the two-way ANOVA to test differences in learning outcomes from the application of each learning method indicate a direct effect between the independent variables of the learning method on learning outcomes with an impact of 50.7%. Variable economic literacy has little influence in determining the learning outcomes of cooperative economics, namely only 10.6%. This shows that other factors influence student economics learning outcomes.
