Abstract

Freedom of competition covers the freedom of companies to choose their action parameters. The digital economy is part of the global economy reforming the way we do business having inferences for FDI representing capital and technology. Moreover, liberalization removes barriers to FDI via establishment or acquisition, causing enhanced access to world capital markets. Currently, technology is changing at a faster rhythm than the development of law and the rule of law which means that this failure is transplanted into IPRs regulation. Additionally, competition is a vital factor regarding industry value and so utilizing the econometric models finds that competition is a significant factor in attracting FDI.
