Abstract

Nem csak az elöregedõ társadalom és a lassan fenntarthatatlanná váló nyugdíjrendszerek teszik indokolttá, hogy az idõsebb munkavállalók foglalkoztathatósága növekedjék. A régi mondás, mely szerint ,,Jó az öreg a háznál..” örökigazsága, hogy olyan tudás- és tapasztalat van az idõsebb generáció birtokában, amely szükségessé teszi ennek a magasabb társadalmi tõkének a tudatosabb hasznosítását. Habár létezik kormenedzsment gyakorlat az emberi erõforrás menedzsment területén, amely kifejezetten az idõsebb generációval foglalkozik, önmagában ez nem elég. Érezni lehet, hogy a nyugdíjba vonuló korosztály nincs megbecsülve, holott a társadalom túlnyomó többségét õk teszik ki és nem foglalkozik senki az õ tudásuk átadásának megszervezésével. Ahhoz, hogy a többi generáció számára át tudják adni mindazt a felhalmozott ismeretet, amivel rendelkeznek, a megfelelõ szervezeti keretek megteremtésére és szemléletváltásra van szükség.
