Abstract

This chapter deals with the importance of business models in support of the digital transformation to insurance 4.0. It details the components of the business model. It takes as a reference the business model canvas. It underlines how to use it in the specific case of insurance. Finally, there is a discussion on the relationships between business models, strategy, and competitive advantages.
