Abstract

The objective of this research is to study the link between talent management and responsible leadership in Luxembourg and if this is changed during pandemic times. For this purpose, a total of 41 semi-structured interviews were performed. The first part of the study was in summer/autumn 2019, before the outbreak of the COVID-19 crisis, with a literature review followed by a qualitative study of 26 semi-structured interviews. The second part took place during the lockdown from March to June 2020 and consisted of 15 semi-structured interviews. Before the pandemic, respondents were mainly asked what responsible leadership in talent management is. In the second part, they were asked how the pandemic impacted this. Cultural peculiarities following Geert Hofstede (2010) in Luxembourg were under review.
