In the case of the small banks, operational risk managementOperational risk management (ORM) generally takes on a secondary role compared to other risks, more closely associated with typical banking activity (in primis credit risk). In this chapter we present the results of a surveySurvey on a sample of Italian cooperative banksCooperative bank (BCC) . The survey explores different research areas: organizational aspects, measurement methods, Second PillarSecond Pillar , insurance coverageCoverage , and trade associations/outsourcingOutsourcing .
