Abstract

Zusammenfassung Wir sollten es alle ernst meinen mit der Nachhaltigkeit. Wer sich jetzt auf den Weg begeben will, eine sinnvolle Strategie zu genau diesem Thema zu entwickeln, für den sollte der Klimawandel außer Frage stehen. Ich verlange nicht, dass Sie Ihr ganzes Unternehmen bereits nach den Regeln der Circular Economy (dazu später mehr) umgekrempelt haben, aber der Gedanke, dass es nicht so weitergehen kann wie bisher, sollte Ihnen schon ein paar Mal durch den Kopf gegangen sein. Den Klimawandel, der unsere Lebensgrundlage auf diesem Planeten bedroht, sehen Sie als wissenschaftlich bewiesenen Fakt an. Dass die Erde sich von ihrem stabilen Weg des Holozäns (gegenwärtiger Zeitabschnitt der Erdgeschichte) das erste Mal in ihrer Geschichte auf durch den Menschen hervorgerufene Abwege Richtung Erwärmung macht („Anthropozän“), halten Sie nicht für ein Märchen (Abb. 1.1). Und vielleicht hatten Sie auch schon die eine oder andere „grüne Idee“, die sich im Verlaufe der Lektüre dieses Buchs eventuell noch als Greenwashing herausstellen könnte. Sofern das tatsächlich gut gemeint war, würde ich das jetzt mal als Vorteil gelten lassen.
