Abstract

This company made ‘serious’ outdoor clothing for walkers, climbers and similar types: it had been set up as a buy-out from the business empire of a fairly prominent public figure in a particular part of the country, and the buy-out funding included outside equity investment from two institutions and a major retail customer. F. was the second non-executive director since the company’s establishment.
