Abstract

One of our main arguments in this book is based on the assumption that we, through the ‘transparent society’, enter into a new paradigm of problem-solving. We see that the complete transparency, which means that everybody who has a PC will have access to all public information that is available, leads to an increase in the form of problem-solving capacity that we may call ‘network intelligence’. Network intelligence is not new. As we can see from the quotation introducing this chapter and from the example below, different degrees of network intelligence exists in any system of problem-solving individuals.
