Abstract

Social pressures impinge on the Arab executive’s attitudes and behaviour. These pressures impose on his time, energy, and performance. In the first part of this chapter we examine the nature and extent of these pressures. In the second part we ‘zoom in’ and focus more closely on the Arab executive at the micro-level by examining his role in his community as well as in his organization.
