Abstract

Issues monitoring, dialogue (and that means listening and acting on feedback as well as talking yourself!) coupled with world-class standards are your first line of defence against a crisis — but some-times you can suddenly find yourself at the centre of a major pressure group campaign. The fact that you have been targeted like this in the first place is probably due to a failure somewhere within your company — but nevertheless you have to manage the situation as best as you can. Here are a few tips on how to avoid such a crisis in the first place and how best to defend yourself if you suddenly find yourself as the centre of attention.
