Abstract

As executives rise up the organisation, they need to rely on others to a greater extent to get things done. The Integration Capability concerns the executive’s ability to work with various individuals, groups and departments in order to produce effective results. Executives need to recognise when such groups – be they formal teams, or larger business units – are not working effectively and how to correct this. To do this they need to get other managers on their side to design and create new and more effective structures.
