Abstract

This chapter is in three distinct parts. In the first, each subject area is discussed in a summarised form, which emphasises those aspects of the strategies of large firms where a great degree of similarity or diversity was met. The second part focuses on the relationship between construction firms’ actual operation and the theoretical ideas propounded in the companion volume.1 The third part is concerned with those areas where further research and analytical work or new endeavours are required.
