Abstract

This occasion honours us all by giving us the opportunity to honour Don Patinkin. Our presence is a token not only of esteem, but also of deep affection. In this spirit it is surely appropriate to turn for a topic to two subjects to which Don has devoted himself, the history of economic ideas, and — Keynes.
