Abstract

When one hears professionals justify the method they use to fix the price of their technologies, one is struck by their need to refer back to principles to show that their evaluations are not arbitrary. Reading Les Nouvelles (the review of the Licensing Executives’ Society) is most interesting from this point of view. It contains many articles written by experts who endeavour to establish a connection between theory and practice.1
